The TerraScrub BA850 is a middle-sized ride-on floor scrubber built for large-scale facilities that need serious cleaning power without the price tag of a full industrial machine. It covers 5,800 square metres per hour with an 850mm dual-brush path, which makes it a practical choice for distribution centers, manufacturing plants, airport terminals, and large retail complexes where smaller walk-behind machines would take too long.
At 580 kg, the BA850 uses its own weight to apply scrubbing pressure to the floor. The heavier the machine, the more force the brushes exert — and at this weight, the dual 650W brush motors can break down stubborn dirt and grease that lighter machines would just glide over. The 180L clean water tank and 195L recovery tank mean you can clean for hours without stopping to refill.
Two variants are available. The BA850BT has an 850mm cleaning width and 5,800 m²/h efficiency for most large facilities. The BA900BT stretches the same platform to a 900mm width and 6,200 m²/h for operations that need maximum coverage per hour. Both share the same 36V/200Ah battery, dual-brush system, and 580 kg frame.
Adjustable Squeegee with Flexible Direct Wheel
The squeegee rubber edges, inclination angle, and pressure are all adjustable. A flexible direct wheel supports the squeegee assembly, keeping it stable at different speeds and on uneven floors. This matters on ride-on machines because you are moving faster than a walk-behind, and a poorly supported squeegee will skip and leave water streaks behind.
Front Anti-Collision Bar
An anti-collision bar mounted at the front of the machine protects both the scrubber and the facility. In tight warehouse aisles or crowded retail backrooms, it is easy to bump into racks, walls, or equipment. The bar absorbs the impact and prevents damage to the machine body and surrounding property. The BA850 runs on a 36V/200Ah maintenance-free battery system. No water levels to check, no acid spills to worry about. At 5,800 m²/h, the battery provides enough runtime to cover 25,000-30,000 m² on a single charge — which is a full day of cleaning for most large facilities. The 36V system delivers more torque than standard 24V machines, which helps with the 580 kg frame and heavy scrubbing loads.
